Shaun Bailey AM

Shaun Bailey has been a member of the London Assembly since 2016, and is the Conservative candidate for this year’s Mayor of London election.
After attending the Army Cadet Force at just aged 12, he became Sergeant-Instructor in his early twenties and stayed in the Cadets for another 10 years.
Mr Bailey entered politics through his charity work as a drug worker, with his first major role in 2010 as special adviser on youth and crime to David Cameron when he was prime minister.
He helped set up the National Citizen Service then took up an advisory role in the Department for Education and has been an assembly member since 2015.
He attended MPCT’s Patrons and Trustees Dinner at The Tower of London in September 2018 where he expressed his appreciation for MPCT and its Learners via social media:
