MPCT Learners take part in The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal Launch at Cardiff Castle
26th October 2018
On Friday the 26th of October 2018, 25 MPCT Learners from our Military Preparation College in Cardiff took part in the official launch of the Poppy Appeal hosted by the Royal British Legion.
The event was a sentimental one, with WW1 replica graves in place in the grounds of the castle due to the 100 year anniversary. This made for an overwhelmingly poignant scene, with MPCT Learners, school children and members of the Armed Forces stood at the graves as Flanders Fields was read out.
It was a true honour to be part of the event, and our Learners from MPC Cardiff did themselves proud.
