Date started at MPCT 2015 Experience

I became a learner at MPCT Cardiff from January 2004 up until I joined the Royal Engineers in July 2004 at the age of 17. My experience with MPCT gave me an excellent insight in to life in the forces and a number of valuable skills that aided my throughout my Army career.
While in the Army I was based with 21 Engineer Regiment firstly in Osnabruck, Germany and then Ripon, North Yorkshire. I was employed as a Lance Corporal in an Armoured Engineer Squadron and also as a Regimental Armoured Fighting Vehicle Instructor. I was deployed to Iraq in 2007 as part of Op Telic 11. I was also fortunate enough to travel to Kuwait, Belize, Mexico and Cyprus.

I joined the Army at the age of 16 where I had a 10 year career serving with 1st The Queens Dragoon Guards. During my time in the Army I was based in Germany and was fortunate enough to be deployed to Afghanistan in 2009 and 2011 and various deployments to Canada and Europe. I spent the last 2 years of my career in a Phase 2 training establishment as a Physical Training Instructor and Troop Corporal.
