Dylan has 14 years of experience as a Training Instructor delivering Sport and Exercise qualifications. He has completed a BSc Hons in Applied Sports Science, Post 16 Certificate in Education, A1 Assessors Award and V1 Verifiers Award which have allowed him to function effectively in engaging, motivating and educating young people.
In his spare time, Dylan is the Head Coach of Ystrad Rhondda RFC, his home club of 17+ years.
I love the opportunity to promote health and wellbeing through sport and exercise. The skills and characteristics we develop through sport and exercise can be transferred to everyday life. The college provides an opportunity to experience this through our Inspired curriculum, promotion of active learning and creating a positive learning environment.

Josh is the Lead Instructor at Cardiff Sports Academy having previously held the role of Training Instructor.
During his time with MPCT, Josh have become qualified in First Aid at Work, Level 2 Gym and Fitness Instructor, Level 2 Group Indoor Cycling, Level 2 Kettlebell Training and Level 3 Nutrition for Exercise and Health. All of this training has proved invaluable for Josh to become a well-rounded, confident and competent instructor capable of developing young people for careers in the sport and active leisure industry.
Prior to working with MPCT, Josh was a professional rugby player with Newport Gwent Dragons. He now combines his work with MPCT and playing semi-professional rugby for Newport RFC.
The best thing about working for MPCT is that I get to educate and motivate young people who have a keen interest in sports coaching, development, exercise and fitness which is my great passion. I love that I get to meet new people on a weekly basis and help them develop. Getting to inspire and educate young learners is very rewarding as I get to see the progress they make throughout their time in the Sports Academy.
