Level 2 City and Guilds Employability Skills

The Employability Skills vocational qualification is designed to allow learners to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and further education. It provides valuable accreditation of skills and knowledge for learners . The course is designed to recognise the personal skills, qualities and attitudes required by employers across vocational sectors. The active engaging nature of the qualification allows a diverse expansion in learner skill set and development of key knowledge in their progression.

Attainment levels:

* Award (6 credits)

* Extended Award (10 credits)

* Certificate (15 credits – 1 year duration)

* Extended Certificate (25 credits – 2 year duration)

Level 2 Award – 601/3632/7

The learner must achieve a minimum of 6 credits which is 2 units.
The assessment method is a Portfolio of evidence and student can achieve a pass which is 11.5 performance points and 5 threshold points at level 2.

Level 2 Certificate – 601/3645/5

The learner must achieve a minimum of 15 credits, which consists of 5 units to achieve this qualification.
The assessment method is a Portfolio of evidence and student can achieve a pass which is 46 performance points and 20 threshold points at level 2.
